Techniques, whether Tuite, Kyusho or simple Combinations should usually end up with the opponent on the ground.  Our goal is for us to be the one controlling the descent and pinning the party to the ground and/or incapacitating them as we assess the situation.

These techniques started as a standing Tuite technique (Left).  As the students reach the ground, they transition into a pinning technique (Right).
We also prepare the students for various mount scenarios, when the worst happens, the opponent somehow ended up on top of you. Tuite still works, as long as you follow certain rules outline in our class and in our book; The Six Basic Principles of Tuite.
