Lineage is a funny thing.  People sometimes want to make a point that they trained in a lineage to show that they are important.  Taika Seiyu Oyata will tell you, that outside of Uhugushiku Tan Mei and Wakinaguri Tan Mei, he had no other real instructors.  He did learn from other people as he trained with other people.  Just because you can link one person through a chain as below, does not mean anything other than historical relevance, like a family tree.
